Sadou Diallo Joins Accrington Stanley

League 1 side Accrington Stanley, have secured the loan signing of Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder, Sadou Diallo, who’ll be at the club until January 2020. Diallo played a pivotal role in Wolves’ U23’s season, throughout the 2018/19 campaign, scoring the winning goal in the dying moments, against Manchester United, which saw his side win the league title.

The 20 year old, signed for Wolves ahead of last season after progressing through the ranks at Manchester City. The Guinea-born England youth international is looking forward to stepping up to senior football after his successful introduction as a Wolves player and hopes to continue where he left off.

We think Sadou’s ready to make that step up to league football after having an excellent season last year with the under-23s. We looked at many of the players from that age group who would benefit from going out on loan and Sadou was definitely one who we believed needed that first-team experience to challenge him a bit more and help further his development.
