Mipo’s West Ham Debut

West Ham progressed into the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 1-0 win over Stockport County on Monday night and Closeview client, Mipo Odubeko, was handed his first-team debut by David Moyes, on a rainy evening at Edgeley Park.

After a strong start to the season and two sublime goals in this season’s EFL Trophy, one of which won Mipo the “Goal Of The Month” award, Mipo picked up an injury during the end of 2020 but on his return he’s impressed massively and been a regular in first-team training. Moyes’ confidence in 18-year-old Mipo Odubeko earned him his debut in the cup and Mipo will be on the hunt for his Premier League debut next, as a clear path has been presented to him with the exit of Sebastien Haller.
