Mipo’s PL2 April POTM
It comes as no surprise that West Ham United striker and Closeview client, Mipo Odubeko, has been awarded as the Premier League 2’s POTM for April 2021.
West Ham’s U23’s entered the month in a worrying position, with relegation looking almost certain. After Mipo established himself in the first-team squad over the course of the season, his desire to maintain match fitness was stronger than ever and despite only playing 14 games for the youth side this season, he’s picked up a goal for every game he’s played.
He entered the month with an emphatic hat-trick against former side Manchester United, in an away trip up north. West Ham fell down two goals before Mipo found his shooting boots and dramatically clinching the 3 points in added time.
